of navigating the Underground River of Sorrow,
i found myself.
...in a field
of fairy blue butterflies
dancing around my ankles,
as i rediscovered how to walk
with Softness and Surrender.
...i found myself
in a field
of Laughing aspen
and dandelion leaves begging to be harvested -
medicine for the bleeding woman i am.
i found myself
among blooming wild strawberries,
not in a hurry to be ripe or ready,
and mullen leaves -
softer than my first kiss,
reminding me of my Life, Alive.
